By using LOCTITE 567 on their fittings, the product provided an instant seal during production tests, and greatly reduced the number of field failures. The product is now applied to all pipe fittings during the assembly process. The company is producing the valves at a much lower cost now due to eliminating rework after testing and customer warranty claims.
