Results

The LOCTITE^® threadlocker solution permanently resolves the screw loosening problem. It fills gaps between threads to lock screws in place and prevent loosening. The simple application of LOCTITE^® 290 is much faster and less costly than replacing all seating screws. The low break-loose torque of the fastener makes it easy to disassemble the seat for replacement when required. As a result of the application, the potential seating hazard was resolved and the project was completed within the 2-week time limit.
