Threadlockers
LOCTITE threadlockers prevent fasteners loosening in critical areas like the powertrain, gearbox, suspension, and steering systems when subjected to the extreme vibration and thermal cycling of the racetrack. They ensure improved reliability, and enable lighter designs.
Blue, medium strength, primerless threadlocker.
This iconic threadlocker locks and seals metal nuts and bolts to prevent loosening due to shock and vibration. Medium strength: removable with hand tools.
Red, high-strength threadlocker for large bolts.
This general purpose threadlocking adhesive locks and seals all metal threaded fasteners, and is thixotropic for ease of application.
Green wicking-grade threadlocker.
This thin, low-viscosity threadlocker has the ability to flow into difficult-to-reach cracks and crevices, making it ideal for locking pre-assembled fasteners.
Thread sealants
LOCTITE thread sealants create leak-proof seals in threaded connections that carry fluids or gases, such as cooling circuits and other sealed systems, while also preventing loosening under vibration. Their primary role is sealing rather than locking, filling the microscopic gaps between threads to stop leaks and protect against corrosion in high-pressure, high-temperature racing conditions.
General purpose thread sealant for metal pipes and fittings.
This 1-part, medium strength, thixotropic, general purpose thread sealant seals straight-to-straight and straight-to-taper threaded fittings.
Retaining compounds
LOCTITE retaining compounds secure cylindrical assemblies, filling microscopic gaps between components, distributing stress more evenly and increasing load capacity while preventing fretting, wear and corrosion. This allows engineers to use lighter or less aggressive interference fits, improving efficiency and serviceability, while ensuring precise alignment and long-term reliability in critical areas like the electric motor, gearbox, and drivetrain.
High strength, low-viscosity bonding with high temperature resistance.
This 1-part, low viscosity, high-strength anaerobic-curing retaining compound even works on slightly oily surfaces. Ideal for rotors on electric motor shafts.
High strength, high temperature-resistant bonding of cylindrical parts.
This 1-part anaerobic-curing retaining compound is designed for bonding cylindrical fitting parts, particularly where high strength with high temperature resistance is required.
Instant adhesives
LOCTITE instant adhesives (cyanoacrylates) are used for rapid bonding of small components, trim, and non-structural parts in situations like the Formula E racetrack, where speed and precision are critical. They cure within seconds on contact, making them ideal for securing items like clips, sensors, rubber elements, and lightweight composite or plastic parts without adding weight or requiring complex fastening methods.

This surface-insensitive, fast fixturing instant adhesive provides high shear strength on a wide range of materials, including difficult-to-bond substrates.
Ultra performance instant adhesive.
This fast fixturing, ultra-performance instant adhesive provides reliable performance under extreme operating temperatures up to 135°C (275°F).
Low viscosity for tight-fitting parts.
This exceptionally low-viscosity instant adhesive forms an ultra-thin adhesive film in seconds, for the smallest adhesive gaps. Suitable for plastics and elastomeric materials.
Your go-to fast-fixturing gel.
This 1-part, surface-insensitive, fast fixturing gel instant adhesive is ideal for porous and acidic materials.
Surface preparation
Most adhesives can’t stick to dirty surfaces, which is where Henkel primers, cleaners, and activators come in. These surface-prep products remove oil, grease, dirt and old residue, and treat parts before gluing or sealing to make sure the adhesive cures properly (and, in the case of activators, faster) and reaches full strength more predictably in the time-critical environment of motorsport assembly and maintenance.
Instant adhesive primer for difficult-to-bond materials.

Surface activator for use with LOCTITE anaerobic adhesives.

Ideal for body panels, aerodynamic elements and certain chassis or enclosure components, they help distribute forces more evenly and maintain structural integrity under extreme racing conditions - all while reducing the need for rivets or bolts and supporting more efficient, high-performance engineering.

This 2-part, non-sagging, steel-reinforced epoxy repair putty cures to a metal-like finish and can be machined, drilled, tapped or filed. Easy to apply with no need for heating or welding.
