Summary

Modified silane-based adhesives are widely used as sealants in the assembly of railway vehicles, due to their different characteristics from other adhesive technologies. In the present study, the performance of three adhesives was evaluated according to the aging stages described in the DVS 1618 standard, which aims to evaluate adhesives for rail vehicle assembly and maintenance applications.
