For a high quality, non-reactive hot-melt adhesive for a wide array of gasketing applications, LOCTITE® ESB 5100 is a good choice. This 1-part plasto-elastic sealant provides tightness against water and gas, and allows for re-opening of sealed joints, e.g. for service, repair or recycling. It has very high tack and high-elastic behavior for a reliable sealing performance – even in thin films – and has a self-healing effect on substrate movements.
