To seal close-fitting joints between rigid metal faces and flanges, try LOCTITE® 573. This medium strength, medium-viscosity sealant is perfect as a form-in-place gasket on rigid flanged connections, e.g. gearbox and engine casings, and for sealing large, rigid metal flanges where assembly may take up to several hours.
