How to use

1. Preparation - Cleaning

Aggressively clean surfaces to be repaired with Loctite^® Fixmaster^® Flex Cleaner and an abrasive pad. If possible, use a wire brush with the cleaner.


2. Applications

Insert the cartridge into the application gun and engage the plunger into the cylinders using light pressure on the trigger, then remove the cartridge cap and expel a small amount of adhesive to ensure both components are flowing evenly and freely. Attach the static mixing nozzle to the cartridge and begin dispensing, purging and discarding the first 3-8 cm from the end of the nozzle to ensure proper mixing. Work quickly, as the material will begin to cure inside the static mixer, and thoroughly work the urethane onto the substrate to achieve maximum surface contact and adhesion. It is not necessary to use the entire cartridge in one application; once finished, leave the static mixer attached to serve as a seal, and replace it with a new mixer before the next use.


3. Note

LOCTITE^® PC 7393 cures very quickly at high temperatures, reducing adequate working time and possibly causing premature curing. When applying LOCTITE^® PC 7393 at temperatures above 25°C or to a warm surface, refrigerate the material thoroughly before application.Do not refrigerate the cleaner.
