LOCTITE® LB 8023 is a black, metal-free, brush top lubricant and anti-seize made from graphite, calcium, boron nitride and rust inhibitors. ABS approved, it protects assemblies from fresh and salt water. It works especially well in high humidity conditions. It has excellent lubricity , superior water wash-out spray resistance and prevents galvanic corrosion. High temperature resistance to 1315°C (2399°F).

How to use
For best performance the mating surface should be clean and free of grease.
Clean parts with a wire brush prior to application, apply a thin coating to mating surfaces and assemble, do not use thinner, and keep the container tightly closed when not in use.

LOCTITE® LB 8023 should be stored in its unopened container in a dry location, in accordance with the storage information on the product container labeling, with an optimal storage temperature range of 8 °C to 21 °C, as storage below 8 °C or above 28 °C may adversely affect product properties, and material removed from containers may become contaminated during use.
The Density of this product is 1.2-1.36 lb/gal at 25°C.
The Penetration of this product is 300-380 (1/10 mm) when tested according to ISO 2137.
LOCTITE® LB 8023 is used for bolts, brushing, bushings, cables, chains, flanges, gaskets, marine applications, nuts, pipe joints, pulp and paper mills, screws, shafts, splines, studs, water and wastewater treatment plants, water pump flanges, water pump gaskets, and water treatment plants.
