When you want an industrial cleaner that’s both biodegradable and doesn’t contain hazardous solvents, LOCTITE® SF 7840 is a great choice. This concentrated parts cleaner and degreaser dilutes with water to serve a wide range of industrial cleaning applications. It’s ideal for engines, motors, castings, valves, bearings, tanks, machinery, windows, carpets, and concrete floors. Expect effective removal of grease, lubricants, cutting oils, fuel oils, tar, road salt, light carbon, food stains, wax, animal fat, mildew, and soot.

How to use
Dilute LOCTITE® SF 7840 with warm or cold water.
Soak or spray parts with LOCTITE® SF 7840 and wipe or rinse clean.
Dilution levels wil vary depending upon the type and amount of substance being removed and the type of surface being cleaned. It is best to begin with a high concentration of LOCTITE® SF 7840 and progress to weaker solutions until the most economical level of effective cleaning is obtained.
LOCTITE® SF 7840 may attack painted surfaces in concentrations with less than 20 parts water. Optimum performance occurs with stronger concentrations, dilution with warm water, agitation or scrubbing and extended surface contact.
Cleaner residues may inhibit the cure of anaerobic adhesives.

Recommended dilution levels (LOCTITE® SF 7840 to water):
- Light cleaning (i.e., work areas, windows, walls, wood work, furniture, carpets, counter tops): 1:64 to 1:128
- Medium cleaning and degreasing (i.e., Fleet maintenance siding, concrete floors, pressure sprayers, floor scrubbers, steam cleaners): 1:16 to 1:32
- Heavy cleaning and degreasing (i.e., dip tanks, washers): 1:1 to 1:4
