      First generation, yellow, medium-strength threadlocker (Military Spec)

      One of the original yellow, medium viscosity, medium-strength threadlocker formulations from the 1950s. Designed for locking and sealing fine-threaded nuts, bolts and studs in legacy applications where compliance to Mil-S-22473E Grade B is required.

      When you need to lock and seal fine-threaded nuts, bolts and studs in legacy applications where certification to Mil-S-22473E Grade B is required, choose LOCTITE® Grade B (85). This product is also suitable for mounting bearings, bushings and other shaft related applications, where medium strength is required. This yellow, medium viscosity, anaerobic curing adhesive cures in the absence of air and presence of metal. It also fluoresces under UV light – great for quality control.
      • Meets Mil Spec: Mil-S-22473E Grade B
      • Designed for locking and and sealing fine threads, as well as retaining bearing on shafts
      • Fluorescent under UV for quality control
      • Can be disassembled with ordinary hand tools for easy service and maintenance
