      First generation, red, very high strength threadlocker (Military Spec)

      One of the original red, medium viscosity, very high strength threadlocker formulations from the 1950s. Designed for locking and sealing large diameter, coarse-threaded nuts, bolts and studs in legacy applications where compliance to Mil-S-22473E Grade AVV is required.

      Information

      When you need to lock and seal large diameter, coarse-threaded nuts, bolts and studs in legacy applications where certification to Mil-S-22473E Grade AVV is required, choose LOCTITE® Grade AVV (86). This red, medium viscosity, very high strength anaerobic curing adhesive cures in the absence of air and presence of metal. It also fluoresces under UV light – great for quality control.
