LOCTITE® DRI 2020 (known as LOCTITE 2020 BRASS-LOC) is a purple, homogenous, low strength, water-based, pre-applied methacrylate ester acrylic adhesive/sealant film coating for threaded fasteners and fittings. It is dry-to-the-touch and remains inert until assembly. It is designed for sealing brass fittings against a range of typical fluids such as motor oils and water/glycol solutions.
