LOCTITE® AA 3922 is a transparent, acrylic-based, low-viscosity light-cure adhesive suitable for a wide variety of applications requiring fast cure, flexibility, high adhesion, and autoclave resistance. It cures in seconds to achieve excellent adhesion to glass, plastics and metals, and is specifically designed for bonding stainless steel cannulae into hubs, syringes and lancets for needle assemblies.

How to use
For best performance bond surfaces should be clean and free from grease.
The product should be dispensed using black feed lines. Cooling should be provided for temperature-sensitive substrates such as thermoplastics. Plastic grades should be evaluated for the risk of stress cracking when exposed to liquid adhesive. Excess adhesive may be removed using an organic solvent. Bonded assemblies should be allowed to cool before being subjected to any service loads.
Cure rate is dependent on lamp intensity, distance from light source, depth of cure needed or bondline gap and light transmission of the substrate through which the radiation must pass.
This product is light-sensitive; exposure to daylight, UV light, and artificial lighting should be kept to a minimum during storage and handling.

Yes, for best performance, bond surfaces should be clean and free from grease.
LOCTITE® AA 3922 should be stored in its unopened container in a dry location, with storage information provided on the product container labeling. The optimal storage temperature between 8°C and 21°C. Storage below 8°C or above 28°C may adversely affect product properties, and any material removed from the container may become contaminated during use and should not be returned to the original container.
The fixture time for this product is a minimum of 10 seconds under black light using Zeta® 7500 light source at 6 mW/cm², measured at 365 nm, UV.
The tensile strength at break for this product is 18 N/mm², measured under ISO 527-3.
LOCTITE® AA 3922 is recommended for use in disposable medical devices, hubs, lancets, needle assemblies and syringes.
