LOCTITE® AA 392 is a medium viscosity, activator-cure structural adhesive for fast cure in automated assemblies. The 2-step acrylic is particularly suited to DC motor assembly, magnet bonding and bonding of pre-coated sheet metal. Its rapid cure makes it perfect for automated assembly lines with short cycle times, and it can be used in temperatures up to 150°C (302°F). Requires LOCTITE® SF 7387 to activate.

How to use
For best performance, bond surfaces should be clean and free from contaminants, including grease.
To ensure a fast and reliable cure, Activator 7380™ or 7387™ should be applied to one bond surface and the adhesive to the other surface, with parts assembled within 15 minutes. The recommended bondline gap is 0.1 mm. Where bond gaps are larger (up to a maximum of 0.5 mm) or where faster cure speed is required, Activator 7380™ or 7387™ should be applied to both surfaces and the parts assembled immediately (within 1 minute). The bond should be held clamped until the adhesive has fixed. The product should be allowed to develop full strength before being subjected to any service loads, typically 24 to 72 hours after assembly, depending on bond gap, materials, and ambient conditions.
Excess adhesive can be wiped away with organic solvent.

LOCTITE® AA 392 should be stored in its unopened container in a dry location, with storage information provided on the product container labeling. The optimal storage temperature between 8°C and 21°C. Storage below 8°C or above 28°C may adversely affect product properties, and any material removed from the container may become contaminated during use and should not be returned to the original container.

(3 kg) weight (13.2 psi) for 10 seconds - is a maximum of 25 seconds on steel with Activator 7380™ applied on one side at a 0.05 mm gap, and a maximum of 330 seconds at a 0.25 mm gap, in cured condition.
The Tensile Strength of the product is 18.6 N/mm², measured using the ISO 527-3 test method under the cured condition.
