LOCTITE® AA 312 is ideal when you need fast-fixturing between close-fitting parts. Use activator LOCTITE® SF 736 for a fast, room-temperature cure of this clear, 1-part, acrylic-based liquid adhesive. Perfect for bonding dissimilar materials like metals, glass or ceramics. Also used in automotive aftermarket for high strength last minute bonding (e.g. rear mirror).

How to use
For best performance, bond surfaces should be clean and free from contaminants, including grease.
To ensure a fast and reliable cure, Activator 736™ or 734™ should be applied to one of the bond surfaces, and the adhesive should be applied to the other surface, with parts assembled within 15 minutes. For larger bond gaps of up to 0.125 mm (0.005 in) or when a faster cure speed is required, Activator 736™ or 734™ should be applied to both surfaces, and parts should be assembled immediately, within one minute. Any excess adhesive can be wiped away using an organic solvent. Bonds should be held clamped until the adhesive has fixtured, and the product should be allowed to develop full strength before being subjected to any service loads, typically 24 to 72 hours after assembly, depending on the bond gap, materials, and ambient conditions.

Yes, For best performance, bond surfaces should be clean and free from contaminants. Cleaning parts prior to bonding should involve residue-free cleaners.
LOCTITE® AA 312 should be stored in the unopened container in a dry location, with storage information possibly indicated on the product container labeling. Its optimal storage temperature is 8°C to 21°C, and storage below 8°C or above 28°C can adversely affect product properties. Material removed from containers may be contaminated during use.
LOCTITE® AA 312 is used for exterior application and interior application.
