LOCTITE® UK 3173 is a dark brown polyurethane resin that when mixed with e.g. LOCTITE® UK 3182 polyurethane hardener, forms a low-shrinkage, low-exotherm potting compound. The two parts are mixed in a volume ratio of 1:5.2 or weight ratio of 13:87 (resin:hardener). The product cures in 90 minutes at 25°C (77°F) or, as an alternate cure schedule, in 30 minutes at 85°C (185°F).
