LOCTITE® 582 is a blue, medium-strength thread sealant for metal threads up to M56/R2". This medium-viscosity dimethacrylate ester acrylic liquid cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. LOCTITE 582 has an operating temperature range of -55°C to 150°C (-67°F to 302°F). It fluoresces under UV light – great for quality control.
