LOCTITE® 576 is a low-strength, general purpose thread sealant for locking and sealing threaded metal fittings which require normal disassembly with standard hand tools. This brown, medium-viscosity, dimethacrylate ester acrylic liquid cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage due to shock and vibration.
