LOCTITE® 5205 is a 1-part, medium-strength, methacrylate-based gasketing sealant for machined, rigid metal flanges requiring semi-flexibility. It’s typically used as a form-in-place gasket for gearboxes and engine casings. This red, viscous anaerobic-curing flange sealant fills gaps up to 0.25 mm (0.01") and can be dispensed robotically. Fluoresces under UV light – great for quality control.
