LOCTITE® LB 8013 is a dark-grey, metal-free anti-seize lubricant with graphite and calcium oxide for protecting steel, stainless steel and other proprietary alloys in high-heat environments. It’s PMUC-approved and exhibits high chemical and high heat resistance up to 1315°C (2400°F). It’s typically used for bolts, valves, studs, pipe fittings, slip fits and press fits in nuclear electric power generating plants, chemical plants, pharmaceutical plants, paper mills and other locations where stainless steel fasteners are needed.
