If you're looking for an effective lubricant that performs even in severe chemical environments, try LOCTITE® LB 8209. This synthetic grease, composed of perfluoropolyether (PFPE) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), is explicitly designed to provide long-lasting lubrication in facilities where chemicals are manufactured, processed or utilized. LOCTITE® LB 8209 is typically used for lubricating and protecting bearings, valves, and other parts. It can be used with chlorinated systems; is insoluble in all but fluorinated solvents; and suitable for applications with an operating range of -26°C to 260°C (-14.8°F to 500°F).
