If you want reliable and efficient protection of threaded fasteners to perform under extreme conditions, LOCTITE® LB 8150 might be what you’re looking for. This silver-colored, petroleum-based anti-seize lubricant paste is fortified with graphite, aluminum and other extreme pressure additives to prevent it from evaporating or hardening in intense cold or heat. This enables it to protect critical metal parts from corrosion and seizure/galling at temperatures of -22°F to +1600°F.

How to use
It is recommended to use LOCTITE® SF 7070 to degrease and clean surfaces prior to applying LOCTITE® Anti-Seize lubricants.
Apply a light coating of the anti-seize lubricant to the parts requiring protection. For threaded fasteners, use a brush to apply a 360 degree band of the lubricant to the circumference of the male fastener. Work the product into the thread roots for proper performance and protection.
For threaded assemblies, thread the coated fastener / male fitting into the nut / female fitting, and then back it off and reassemble to ensure even coverage of the lubricant. Tighten with hand tools to proper torque requirement.
FAQ
Anti-seize fills the gaps between mating surfaces, and prevents contact under load. Upon exposure to high temperatures, the grease components burn off and the active fillers remain to allow for disassembly of the components.
Galling is the tearing or welding of metal when two substrates rub against each other, usually caused by lack of lubrication and extreme contact pressure.
