This heavy-duty, molybdenum-disulfide based, solid film lubricant prevents corrosion, seizing, galling, and friction between sliding surfaces and slow moving parts. 'Resists temperatures up to 400°C (750°F) as a dry film lubricant, and 1315°C (2400°F) when used as an anti-seize lubricant.

For reducing friction between surfaces in extreme environments, LOCTITE® LB 8017 is a great choice. This black, heavy-duty lubricant is ideal for general plant maintenance, metal working trade, machinery manufacturing, and commercial jet engine manufacturing. It reduces friction between surfaces in many extreme environments, including those with high and low temperatures. For continuous use in sliding friction, it resists temperatures up to 400°C (750°F) as a dry film lubricant, and 1315°C (2400°F) when used as an anti-seize lubricant.
