The low viscosity of LOCTITE® 603 makes it ideal for augmenting press / interference fits, or for use on slip-fitted assemblies with small clearances. The high-strength adhesive reliably prevents loosening from shock and vibration on cylindrical parts, such as roller bearings or oil impregnated bushings into housings, while also prevents corrosion between the metal parts.

How to use
For best results, clean all surfaces (external and internal) with IPA 99% and allow to dry.
If the material is an inactive metal or the cure speed is too slow, spray with LOCTITE® SF 7471TM or LOCTITE® SF 7649TM and allow to dry.
For slip-fitted assemblies, apply the adhesive around the leading edge of the pin and the inside of the collar, and use a rotating motion during assembly to ensure good coverage. For press-fitted assemblies, apply the adhesive thoroughly to both bonding surfaces and assemble at high pressure and controlled rates. For shrink-fitted assemblies, coat the adhesive onto the pin, then heat the collar to create sufficient clearance for free assembly. Parts should not be disturbed until sufficient handling strength is achieved.
Apply localized heat to the assembly to approximately 250 °C. Disassemble while hot
Cured product can be removed with a combination of soaking in a LOCTITE® solvent and mechanical abrasion such as a wire brush.

Yes, for best results, clean all surfaces (external and internal) with a LOCTITE® cleaning solvent and allow to dry.
LOCTITE® 603 should be stored in its unopened container in a dry location. Storage information may be indicated on the product container labeling. The optimal storage temperature is 8°C to 21°C, as storage below 8°C or above 28°C can adversely affect product properties. Material removed from the container may be contaminated during use and should not be returned to the original container.
The Fixture Time of this product is 10 minutes under standard conditions.
LOCTITE® 603 will be recommended for oil impregnated bushings and roller bearings applications.
