TECHNOMELT® PA 638 BLACK high performance thermoplastic polyamide is formulated for low pressure molding processes. Its low viscosity means it can encapsulate fragile components without damage, and it produces no toxic fumes in the process. You can expect a good balance of low and high temperature performance, and excellent moisture- and environmental resistance. It’s ideal in applications with service temperatures up to 257°F, such as in an automotive firewall.
