Henkel’s patented LOCTITE LASER-FIT™ Process transforms this workflow with a three-step innovation: Tire Cleaning → Foam Application → Laser Activation. By directly applying the liquid reactive foam formulation into the tire, where it immediately expands and cures at ambient temperature to form an acoustic foam, this solution eliminates preformed foam patches, manual handling, and the entire adhesive bonding process. In order to optimize the acoustic damping performance and to avoid excessive thermal insulation, the foam’s skin can be removed by a fully integrated laser process with a 4JET Laser System.
