What are electrically conductive adhesives?

Electrically conductive adhesives are materials that bond and electrically connect components, printed circuit boards (PCBs), LTCC’s and flexible foil based printed electronic substrates. They are incredibly versatile, providing exceptional design flexibility. Electrically conductive adhesives offer high reliability, electrical conductivity, thermal control, and simple, safe processing.

Why use electrically conductive adhesives?

Among many reasons, electrically conductive adhesives are often used when solder processing temperatures may damage sensitive components, or when joining dissimilar surfaces such as metal and ceramic. They aren’t a solder replacement for every application, but for specific designs, electrically conductive adhesives are ideal.
