LOCTITE® 6300 is a green, high-strength retaining compound for bonding cylindrical fitting parts, and is suitable for a maximum diametrical clearance of 0.15 mm (0.006"). It's typically used for holding gears and sprockets onto gearbox shafts and rotors on electric motor shafts, but is also approved for use on bearings. This low-viscosity dimethacrylate ester acrylic liquid cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces or when exposed to UV light of sufficient intensity. It’s designed to prevent loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. LOCTITE 6300 carries no hazard symbols, risk or safety phrases and does not contain any declarable carcinogens, mutagens or reproductive toxins.
