For meat, produce, frozen food and ready meal applications, Henkel can support evaluation of anti-fog heat seal coating options, depending on substrate, sealing requirements and application conditions.

Henkel heat seal coatings support dry food cup and unit portion lidding for oatmeal, rice, cocoa, sauces and condiments. LOCTITE LIOFOL HS 1161 suits foil and film applications. For selected non-foil food packaging, HS J9184AFS and HS J9184ATS offer grease and oil resistance for sauce cups, aggressive fillings and refrigerated conditions.

Henkel heat seal coatings support condiment, sauce cup and food-service lidding. LOCTITE LIOFOL HS 1161 resists oily and greasy fillings. For selected non-foil unit portion lidding, HS J9184AFS and HS J9184ATS provide grease and oil resistance with low-temperature bond strength for refrigerated applications. LOCTITE LIOFOL HS 1161 can be evaluated for selected foil and film lidding applications, including dairy cups and coffee pods, where reliable heat seal performance, food-contact suitability and cupstock compatibility are required. It can be direct-coated to PET and foil without primer. Final selection depends on substrate, sealing conditions, filling good and compliance documentation.

TECHNOMELT PS 7185 is a Henkel extrudable hotmelt for peel and reseal food lidding, including cheese and meat trays. It supports smooth first opening, stable reclosable adhesion after repeated use, good adhesion to PET and PE at refrigerated temperatures, and good machinability for convenient, reclosable packaging.

LOCTITE LIOFOL HS J9184AFS and LOCTITE LIOFOL HS J9184ATS are solvent-based heat seal coatings for selected non-foil unit portion lidding applications. They are designed for food packaging applications such as sauce cups and offer excellent grease and oil resistance for aggressive filling goods. They can also be evaluated for refrigerated applications where excellent low-temperature bond strength is required.
