BONDERITE® L-GP BND60A is a lubricant and release agent based on micronized hexagonal boron nitride. It is most effective at temperatures between 500°C (932°F) and 1000°C (1832°F). The product can be used as a long-lasting anti-spatter coating on welding torches and clamps in MAG and MIG welding processes, as a release coating on hot tools used in glass molding and metal forming, as a die lubricant for hot and isothermal metal forming under vacuum or inert gas, and as a dry film lubricant for high-temperature applications such as gas turbines. It is applied by aerosol spray and cures in approximately 15 minutes at room temperature or within one minute on surfaces above 100°C.
