LOCTITE® UR 7229 B is a solvent-free, moisture curing, 1-part adhesive based on polyurethane. It is specially designed for the manufacture of sandwich elements with porous substrates (e.g. wood), which can be bonded to one another or to metals, laminated panels, various plastics, rigid foams made of polystyrene, polyurethane and others. Ideal for the manufacture of sandwich elements, such as partition walls (thermal insulation, sound protection), facade elements and roof elements (mineral fibre panels or mats bonded to primed sheet metal or compression moulding compounds and plaster boards). At room temperature and with the required humidity in the joint, you can expect sufficient strength after approximately 6-8 minutes.
