LOCTITE® PC 9340 is specifically designed to protect chemical storage and manufacturing equipment against extreme corrosion caused by chemical exposure under heat. It is an impervious ceramic composite that offers an ultra-smooth, glossy surface, while significantly reducing the surface friction that causes ‘boundary drag’. The improved surface smoothness is ideal where applications require maximum fluid flow efficiency while protecting against abrasion, turbulence and corrosion/erosion under typical service temperatures of -30°C to 210°C (-20°F to 410°F). LOCTITE PC 9340 is perfect for repairing heat exchangers and condensers, for lining tanks and chutes, for resurfacing and repairing rudders and pintel housings, and for repairing cooling pump impellers and butterfly valves.
