TEROSON® RB VII is a black/white, double-sided, self-adhesive, permanently plastic-profiled, rubber-based sealing cord. It's typically used in sheet manufacturing for sealing overlapping steel, steel sheets, aluminium, glass and plastic constructions, and in the automotive, wagon and caravan industries to seal metal, wood and plastic parts. It's also suitable for spacing and protecting against corrosion between steel and non-ferrous metals. It also serves as a vibration damper. TEROSON RB VII is used as an inner sealant when sealing overlapping substrates, and the sealed parts need to be fixed mechanically, e.g. by clamps, screws, rivets or similar. It allows for re-opening sealed joints to perform service, repair or recycling. Before application, surface pretreatment with TEROSON® VR 10 is recommended.
