LOCTITE® AA 5884 is a UV/visible light-curing liquid sealant ready to use in seconds. It is robotically dispensed onto the part and then, once cured through brief exposure to a high intensity UV light source, the oil- and thermally-resistant gasket can be compressed. Perfect for use in static compression gasket applications for automotive powertrain, propulsion, and related components. Typical applications include cam covers, oil pans, rear seal retainers, transmission covers, axle covers, and module housings. It is halogen free, resistant against hydrolysis, and has flame resistance tested in accordance to UL94 HB.
