LOCTITE® 566 is a brown, low-strength thread sealant for locking and sealing metal pipes and fittings against water, oil and most common organic materials. This medium-viscosity, dimethacrylate ester acrylic liquid cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration.
