Green, high strength, high-temperature resistant threadlocker
This green, high strength, medium-viscosity threadlocking adhesive prevents unwanted movement, loosening, leaks and corrosion. It has high temperature resistance and cures through light coatings of corrosion-prevention oils and cutting fluids without prior cleaning.

When you need your assemblies to be vibration resistant with no unwanted movement, loosening, leaks or corrosion, consider LOCTITE® 278. This green, high strength, medium-viscosity threadlocker has a fixture time on steel and brass of 20 minutes, and on stainless steel of 60 minutes. It is able to cure through light coatings of corrosion-prevention oils and cutting fluids without needing to clean the surfaces prior to applications, withstands high temperatures up to 200°C (392°F), and has proven capable of providing breakaway torque on M10 bolts of 42 Nm.
