BONDERITE® L-GP BND60A is a lubricant and release agent based on micronised hexagonal boron nitride. It is most effective at temperatures between 500 °C (932 °F) and 1000 °C (1832 °F). The product can be used as a long-lasting anti-spatter coating on welding torches and clamps in MAG and MIG welding processes, as a release coating on hot tools used in glass moulding and metal forming, as a die lubricant for hot and isothermal metal forming under vacuum or inert gas and as a dry film lubricant for high-temperature applications such as gas turbines. It is applied by aerosol spray and cures in approximately 15 minutes at room temperature or within one minute on surfaces above 100 °C.
