LOCTITE® PC 7221 is a 2-part epoxy protective coating for protecting equipment and concrete structures exposed to aggressive chemical environments. It is specifically designed to resist extreme corrosion caused by chemical exposure, particularly sulphuric acid. It is typically used for resurfacing tube sheets, condensers, cooling pump impellers, butterfly valves, cavitated pumps, line tanks and chutes and for repairing rudders and pintle housings. It is also suitable for lining chemical containment areas and protecting concrete surfaces. The product can be applied by brush or roller and is easy to mix and use. It cures at room-temperature and forms a glossy, low-friction surface that helps reduce friction and turbulence while providing long-term protection.
