The customer required a cost-effective solution to extend the operational life of a damaged conveyor belt scheduled for replacement in six months. The belt suffered a 75-meter gouge that exposed the canvas plies, posing a serious risk of structural compromise and potential failure.
Henkel’s LOCTITE® PC 7350™ was selected for its rapid application and cost-effective repair capabilities. The product was applied to the gouged area using a dispensing gun. Prior to application, the surface was abraded, cleaned, and treated to ensure optimal adhesion. The repair compound was then applied and smoothed to achieve the required finish.
