Although the name is EQ HD14 400 ml manual & pneumatic guns, these guns can be used for both 400 ml & 490 ml products.
The references to 30 ml size are the syringe size itself for all products with a 25 ml fill. Therefore, these can be used with these units.
SDS documents are not created for equipment components. SDS documents are only available for chemical containing products such as adhesives.
An integrated dispenser includes a controller whereas a dispense reservoir does not.
An integrated dispenser can control up to two valves simultaneously.
Double-check that your air connections are correct, as they may be reversed. If not, you may need to clean and rebuild the valve.
In order to help reduce waste you can use the white puck that is included with the reservoir. This puck will raise the adhesive bottle in the reservoir so that the low level sensor will trigger lower in the bottle.
Yes it can, LOCTITE® footswitches are interchangeable across most LOCTITE Equipment.
The EQ Pro Pump can be used with both 50 ml and 250 ml bottles. There are two different models of Peristaltic Hand Pumps, one for the 50 ml bottles and another for the 250 ml bottles. The Peristaltic Hand Pump offers the ability to change the dispense volume while the dispense volume for the EQ Pro Pump is fixed.
A controller is not required to operate the RC30 manual reservoir. However, a controller can be used for more control, repeatable dispensing, and programming.
The PU20 is designed to be used with low to medium viscosity products. Otherwise, adhesive flow is very slow or adhesive can clog in the feedline tubing.
It is best practice to replace the tubing completely. Refer to IDH# 1070736.
Ensure the emergency stop is released and the shorting connector is plugged in at the back of the robot.
It is likely that an older style robot is being used with a newer style black teach pendant. If the robot previously used a white teach pendant, the new black style will not operate the older robot. Older robots can be upgraded to accept the new teach pendants. Please contact us for more info.
Yes, a dispense system like a reservoir controller and a light cure system can both be integrated into a robot at the same time. In this case, a robot junction box is required to make the connections.
There is a 365 nanometer wavelength unit and a 405 nanometer unit. Although the newer generation light cure products cure at 405 nanometers, we still have older generation products that only cure at 365 nanometers, which is why the 365 nanometre option is required. The newer generation products can also cure at 365 nanometers as an option.
Many of the specimens tested in the TDS were cured at standard wavelengths (typically 365 nanometers) and intensities. However, it is possible to cure most products at different wavelengths, such as 405 nanometers. Double-check with tech support to confirm compatibility. Most of our light cure products do cure at 405 nanometers regardless of what is presented on the TDS.
This phenomenon is referred to as oxygen inhibition. One way to adress this is to cure the adhesive with high-intensity light at a lower wavelength of 220-260 nanometers in the UV spectrum. You can also use the 97034 UVC Light Guide System to eliminate the tacky surface. Lastly, some of the newer generation light cure products offer an improved tack-free surface. Consult with technical support for further options.
No, the lens for the CL40 has a specific focal length that prevents the 97057/97034 Spot Cure Systems from achieving the required intensities.
No, the flood heads are not interchangeable and must be used with the appropriate controller for each unit.
The CL40 can operate up to four LED heads independently by connecting a footswitch for each wand or you can link the wands to start simultaneously using a footswitch.
The CL42 can operate up to two LED heads independently by connecting a footswitch for each head or you can link the heads to start simultaneously using a footswitch.
The CL30 can operate up to four LED heads independenty by connecting a footswitch for each head or you can link the heads to start simultaneously using a footswitch.
The EQ PM20 UV AB Radiometer/Dosimeter is designed to measure wavelengths between 320 nm and 395 nm for UV light sources. The EQ PM20 UV VIS Radiometer/Dosimeter is designed to measure wavelengths between 395 nm and 620 nm for visible light sources while the LOCTITE® 7020 UVA Spot Radiometer should be used for bulb-based wand systems.
