LOCTITE® SF 7701 is a colorless, solvent-based, medical-device grade primer for making difficult-to-bond substrates and low energy surfaces like polyethylene, polypropylene, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and thermoplastic rubber suitable for bonding with LOCTITE® instant adhesives. Tested to Henkel's ISO-10993 biocompatibility protocols. Not recommended in assemblies where high peel strength is required.

How to use
It is recommended to use the correct LOCTITE® cleaner for the surface to be bonded (such as LOCTITE® SF 7070) to degrease and clean surfaces prior to applying the adhesive.
To improve adhesion on difficult to bond plastic surfaces, apply LOCTITE® SF 7701 to the bond area by brushing or dipping. Avoid applying excess primer. Allow the primer to dry.

Primer should be applied via brush or spray sparingly to any/all difficult-to-bond substrates that are being bonded.
LOCTITE® Medical Device Grade products have been tested to Henkel's ISO-10993 biocompatibility protocols, making them candidates for use in disposable medical devices. They are not intended for implants and (invasive) prostheses.
