LOCTITE® SI EV 9910 is a versatile, 1-component silicone sealant designed for high-performance applications. It offers an extended processing time and rapid curing. With excellent adhesion to various substrates and superior sealing properties, it is an ideal replacement for pre-cut gaskets and is perfect for sealing EV battery packs.

How to use
Cut off the upper part of the thread, then fit the application nozzle. Adjust the shape of the nozzle or trim it to achieve the best result for your specific application.
Place the cartridge in the TEROSON® POWERLINE II Air Cartridge Dispenser or a similar application tool.
Dispense and discard the first 2 cm of sealant to ensure a clean application.
Apply LOCTITE® SI EV 9910 directly to the battery flange, preferably in a continuous pass.
Carefully place the battery cover on the battery housing, ensuring that the sealant is well pressed into place.
Note: The cover must be installed within the 25-minute processing time.
Insert the fasteners into their designated holes and evenly tighten to ensure uniform pressure. Make sure the sealant is evenly distributed, with no visible gaps in the sealant around the edges of the battery housing.
Wait at least 30 minutes, then carry out an airtightness test with special testing equipment to meet the initial IP 67 requirements.

For optimal adhesion, we recommend using our professional cleaner, TEROSON® VR 10 [link to VR10], to thoroughly clean the surfaces. LOCTITE® SI EV 9910 is a moisture-curing product that provides excellent adhesion to a wide variety of substrates, without the need for a primer or activator. Wait at least 30 minutes before performing an airtightness test with specialized equipment to meet water and dust protection standards, such as IP55, IP65, and IP67.
