LOCTITE® 649 is a green, high-strength retaining compound suitable for a maximum diametrical clearance of 0.1 mm (0.004"). This low viscosity urethane methacrylate ester liquid contains no acrylic acid and cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces. It’s designed to prevent loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. It has a 10-minute fixture time on steel and an operating temperature range of -55°C to 175°C (-67°F to 347°F).
