PTFE is incredibly chemical resistant, which prevents clogging and makes the needle suitable for dispensing most low-viscosity fluids, including UV-sensitive ones. LOCTITE® Stainless Steel PTFE Needle Tip is a 25 mm (1") long helical-threaded dispense tip that attaches securely to valves and syringe barrels. The PTFE lining makes the needle highly chemical resistant, and its low surface energy means your adhesive will flow smoothly. It also contains a light-blocking additive to help protect UV-sensitive fluids. Industry standard color-coded tip hubs ensure you can be confident you’re choosing the right size.

Tip and needles are designed for precision dispensing of adhesives and fluids in both manual and automated systems. We offer a comprehensive line of LOCTITE® brand dispense tips and needles, from stainless steel (solid metal or with plastic hub), to tapered polyethylene and flexible polypropylene. All feature a positive locking, helical thread design, which ensures the tip stays put during the toughest applications.
Dispense needles and tips are selected based on adhesive technology and application. Tapered tips are the most commonly used as they are compatible with a broad range of applications and chemistries, and also do not scratch sensitive surfaces/parts. Stainless steel tips are most commonly used when dispensing in hard-to-reach areas. Needle gauge is selected based on viscosity and the size of the bead or drop.
