A 2-part, solvent-free adhesive system that is formulated for films and foils, and shows good adhesion on various substrates. Laminates manufactured with suitable materials are resistant to boiling and retorting (outer layer).

LOCTITE® LIOFOL LA 5036 is the hardener that, when combined with LOCTITE® LIOFOL LA 2798, is suitable for the lamination of transparent, metallised films and foils. Laminates manufactured with suitable materials are resistant to boiling and retorting (outer layer). Reaction of both parts produces an adhesive film with high polymer content, which shows good adhesion on a variety of substrates. The cured polyurethane film is transparent, odourless, elastic and age-resistant.
