LOCTITE® 570 is an opaque silver-brown, low-strength thread sealant for sealing large-diameter threaded metal pipes and fittings. Purposely designed to cure slowly to allow adequate assembly time, this methacrylate ester acrylic liquid cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. Its thixotropic nature makes it easy to apply and reduces sealant migration after application. Suitable for threads up to M80/R3, LOCTITE 570 is ideal for applications where subsequent disassembly is required.
Meets the performance requirements of KIWA GASTEC QA AR 214 for admixtures up to and including 100% hydrogen gas – approval number: 0214273/01. Suitable for potable water according to KIWA,- certificate number: K24176-3.
