BONDERITE® M-FE 3990 is an acid phosphates-based liquid product formulated for multi-metal conversion coating treatment. It forms an amorphous phosphatic coating on the treated surface, mainly composed of iron phosphates. The iron phosphate layer provides excellent adhesion for organic coatings, and improves corrosion resistance. It is compatible with cold-rolled steel, iron, galvanised steel, and aluminium. It is used in spray and spray/immersion processes.
