- Description
- Technical specification
LOCTITE® TW 605 is a 1-part, water-based, NMP-free silicone resin coating, designed to provide dry-film lubrication and release properties for automotive weatherstripping applications. It effectively reduces friction between rubber and glass or painted surfaces, suppresses squeaks, and offers freeze-release characteristics. It is specifically designed for application on rubber substrates, including thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) and ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM), commonly used in automotive weatherstripping components such as door seals, boot seals and sunroof gaskets. The coating cures to a matte black finish that is flexible, wear-resistant, and non-abrasive to painted surfaces.
