A 2-part adhesive system formulated for films and foils, including foil laminates requiring resistance to aggressive fillings; shows good adhesion on various substrates. Laminates manufactured with suitable materials are resistant to retorting, boiling and pasteurising.

LOCTITE® LIOFOL LA 2797, in combination with the special hardener LOCTITE® LA 5028, is perfect for the lamination of transparent, metallised films and foils. Laminates manufactured with suitable materials are resistant to retorting, boiling and pasteurising (30 min, ≤ 121°C/121°C (250°F). When mixed, it produces an adhesive film with high polymer content, which shows good adhesion on various substrates. The cured adhesive film is transparent, odourless, elastic and age-resistant, and is suitable for the manufacture of laminates that must be resistant to aggressive filling goods.
