TEROSON^® SI 9140 is a 1-part, transparent/black silicone-based car body sealant. It’s typically used as a rubber-like gasket or for sealing joints and leaks, e.g. for electronic device boxes in vehicles and post-sealing tasks on painted panels in trucks and buses. It offers good resistance to UV-light and can therefore be used for exterior applications. It cures by absorbing moisture from the air to form an elastic material that adheres well to a wide array of substrates without primer. For easy application, any professional dispensing tool with a piston will do, e.g. the TEROSON^® ET GUN POWERLINE II or the TEROSON^® ET STAKU HAND GUN. Before application, surface pretreatment with TEROSON^® VR 10 is recommended.
